Choosing the right fullness for slip

Choosing the right fullness for slip

Hi everyone! I'm just looking around on ebay for slips and wondering which fullness I should go for with my dress. My dress is very very simple, and I definitely think it needs some extra fullness so that I'm not eclipsed by the fullness of my MOH's dress!!

So here's my dress:

here's the ebay seller so you can get a look at the difference in fullness, just click on the tabs to the left that help you search by fullness. Thanks to D's girl for posting the vendor a few days ago!:

Uh oh!! Somehow I couldn't edit that post!

When you go to the ebay store, you can search for different levels of fullness. You just click the tabs on the left. Which level would you go with for this dress? They have not-too-full, medium full, very full, super full. I'm leaning towards very full- would that be a mistake for this dress?

DO you even need a slip? Ask Goldi1021 (Leslie) she had a dress kind of like that...I think a-line would definetely poof it out...unless you want that..I wasn't sure what you were looking for

Your dress def looks more A line then say a ballgown/princess shape. I would not get anything too puffy though either way.

i would do an a-line slip..anything bigger would make this dress poofy

i don't this dress needs a very full slip either. when you go for your first fitting though you can try different ones on so you can make a better decision.

I don't necessarily want it to look poofy...but I want to give it more fullness. Will an a-line slip even do that? My guess is that that slip would just make the dress lay naturally on the body.

Am I crazy for wanting more fullness? Is that even possible with my dress?

Hmmm... too much poofiness might not look right. I would wait to try it on with different slips and then make your selection from there.

Awww, thanks!! I hope I still do!

I always try to make these decisions before I actually go into a store and try different things. I guess I'm just trying to avoid Lillette's suckering me into buying one of their slips!!!

Thanks all!

I tried my dress on with all different slips. Then once I found the one I like I shoped around for the best price.

I'm also nervous they're gonna take years for my dress to come in so I'd like to have all the little things outta the way, if ya know what I mean....
