Choosing Venue - Timber Point, Louis XVI, Vanderbilt, East Wind

We are choosing our venue, trying to decide between Louis XVI, Timber Point, Vanderbilt Mansion, and East Wind. Probably doing December 2009.

We got an AMAZING price quote from Timber Point, blowing the others out of the water. Has anyone been to a wedding or had a wedding there in the past year or so? What are your thoughts? How was it for a winter wedding?

Also, in terms of negotiating per head prices, how much can we really lower it by?

ETA: I have seen it decorated at Christmastime, and it is absolutely beautiful!
