Chop Turkey - Freezer Question

Chop Turkey - Freezer Question

I put a package of chopped turkey meat in the freezer on March 6th. I took the meat out Saturday to defrost and left it in the frig. Just to make sure, Do you think it is still good to eat? Since it was frozen for over a month?

I don't see why not - it's not discolored, or funky-smelling, is it?

You are probably fine - just eat it tonight.

If you put it in the fridge to defrost - that will take ages, so it probably hasn't been fully defrosted for long so you'll be ok!

Turkey parts can be frozen for 3 month, whole turkeys for 6. So ground turkey is probably fine after a month.

says 3- 4 months frozen for ground turkety & if it takes 1-2 days to defrost in thr fridge anyway, so just cook it today.

meat has a decent shelf life if frozen, it's good.
