What is the standard gift for a christening? I need to know what I should give my friends baby?
I always have a hard time with this one....I usually get a frame (they have christenign frames that are engraveable at Things Remembered) and a $50 - $100 US bond. It depends on how 'good' friends you are with them.
I like bonds... a fifty dollar savings bond is only 25 dollars cash out of your pocket, 100 is 50 out of pocket.. it matures over several years.. its something nice that the parents can't accidentally spend and the kid will look foward to cashing!!
