What is the standard gift besides giving a bond...which I dont have time to do? Help ladies! LOL

i have given cash alot so that the parents can either put away for the childs future or buy what they need now. you can also give a piece of jewerly or an outfit which i have also seen done

I bought one of the remaining 'keepsake' gifts from the baby registry for $25 and I'm sending a check for $50.
But, believe me, I have learned that I give on the more hefty side. (I am not even attending this christening)
