Hi girls.

I am Godmother to my best friends little boy. I offered to buy his christening outfit for him. We are going this weekend to look for at outfits. The Christening is at the end of August. So my question is, should I buy him an additional gift to give the day of the christening (like a cross or something) or is the outfit considered my gift. I want to get him something else. What is the norm, what do you all think??

Usually The GM buys the outfit & the GF buys the cross. Outfits can get pricey depending on where you buy. If you feel the need to get something else I would get a small gift or maybe money or a bond.

I agree. I would get a bond. The cross is usually from the godfather. You could also get a silver spoon or a silver cup.
