I sent an email to the photographer and asked her opinion on the situation, and told her that FI and I are game for whatever she wants, and that we didn't want to jepordize her equipment in case it was pouring, but we have no problem grabbing and umbrella and winging it.

I'll wait to see what she responds, and then suggest GC.

Just got the email response from the photographer - she said a little drizzle is fine and will be fun, however if it's downpouring, we'll go to Grand Central!!!!!!!!!

i agree w/ this - especially for this time of year - i think gray skies will fit the NYC look.

either way - i hope there is no rain - but if it does drizzle think of all the adorable shots of you & FH under an umbrella!! or stepping over puddles!!!

think outside the box - it will make you less crazy with stress....

according to weather.com it's only going to rain in the morning on Saturday and will be dry in the afternoon, so I don't think you have anything to worry about.

just a fyi just in case though, post 9-11, if you decide to go the GC route, you will need to get a permit.

Yes, I'm working on getting the permit now, thanks again!

They were scheduled for 2pm, and at 12, we decided to reschedule for this Saturday.

It was downpouring at 2pm, and I'd rather pictures in CP than GC.

So, I'll keep you posted on how this Saturday goes.
