FMIL travels alot & got FH & me a Chinese name chop stamp set w/ each of our full names in English & Chinese....it is so beautiful...only problem is she got FH's last name on mine...and i wasn't planning on taking his name! I felt so bad Fh & i looked at each other & didn't have the heart to tell her...but now I am thinking...should i just take his name & keep mine for my art? FH still thinks i should just keep my name because it is easier and makes more sense...arrgghhh...i so wish she had gotten me my name so i could stamp my art with it!
I dont' think you should change to your husbands name, JUST because of the stamp. It should be more than that. You could always order another, with your maiden, and use that for your art, and use the other, with his name, for cards or thank you or things like that.
I mean if you were already toying with the fact of taking his name, then really think it through before you do anything.

I agree with Nina-think it thru before you do anything. You can always order one with your name on it and use it for you art.
