does anyone have any ideas yet or did they get your FH a chirstmas gift? Mine is such a pain in the butt to shop for i dont even have a clue what to get him he has no hobbies hes a soon to be cop and i am stuck! =/

hehe my FH is a soon to be cop.. But his hobbies is his car so I got him some stuff for that.. but I did get him the precious moment little boy in the cop car which I thought was totally adorable and he will totally appreciate it!

I am gonna go with the PS3 or an Xbox. As an FH I love my cars and my games but the online experience on the PS3 and Xbox is amazing. Here are some things you should know before you buy.
1) Generally more people I know play Xbox live than Playstation 3 online. The Xbox live does cost money to play online , but the Playstation is free. The subscription for Xbox live is about 70 a year. But trust me , Call Of Duty or Sports games online are the way to go. Nothing beats them in terms of being competitive and addictive.
2) The PS3 comes with a blu ray player that is awesome. There is no blu ray or hd dvd for the xbox anymore so you have just regular dvd functions. However, if this isnt a concern for you FH I wouldnt worry about it.
3) The playstation comes with its own wireless device so u can link up to your home network to get online rather easily. To get online with an xbox, you have to either run a wire to your router, or buy a wireless adapter (around $100).
Overall, I prefer my Xbox for gaming and my PS3 for the movie quality and such. I would do some research and find out if any of his friends have either system. Chances are he will want to play with them and being on one or the other system can make it harder for him.
