My fiance and I would like to drive around on LI tonight to find the best homes decorated with christmas lights. Do you girls know of any inyour area? We live in port jeff but don't mind traveling a little.

Honestly, I'm a bit disappointed this year.... I have not been seeing many houses in my area decorated Of course, there are a few houses here and there.... but not like it used to be...

well with the economy the way it is ppl probably didnt have the money to go out and buy alot of stuff like they used to. Or if they had stuff, some people dont want to end up paying for having the lights on and stuff

I know Peninsula Drive in Babylon always had lots of beautiful homes decorated really nice. Esp closer to the bay you go..

kime st. in north babylon. right off ss. also it is off of deer park ave. there is also a house on gleeland st. off deer park ave. and on w. 6th and w.9th all in deer park. some of these houses you get out and walk around there is so much!!!

my fh's grandma lives on the same block as the 'christmas house' on kime st. right off of southern state in north babylon...and let me tell you the area gets pretty hairy sometimes. Just be careful driving near that house!!!

oh, i saw an ad for a holiday light spectacular similar to the one at jones beach. i think it's at the holtzville ecology center

Definitely I think people are trying to keep the electric bills down..those lights SUCK up electricity!!
i'm so behind this year, we haven't even gotten our tree yet!!!
