I know how you feel. I haven't been in the xmas spirit lately either. My bday is Sunday and there is just too much to do... I have to finish school this week and do my last 2 assignments and then i really have to concentrate on so much wedding planning during my break til next semester......Go see the tree in the city and go to Serendipity 3 (always wanted to go there) and have a frozen hot chocolate... Walk past Macy's windows and u will get in the spirit....... hmmm maybe i just decided on my bday plans!!!!!

Happy bday!!!!!!!!! My brother's bday is the 21st.... he will be 16. I wish Jones beach still had the holiday light show.. It was getting too expensive but would take that 'donation' anytime right about now to do something. It stinks That they don't do it anymore.

my birthday is Sartuday!! =] 12-12!
I can honestly say though, after decorating the house and getting our christmas tree I am in the holiday spirit. It's a little hard this year since we recently lost 2 family members but i love the holidays, especially christmas!

I know how you feel, I haven't really shopped for christmas gifts yet or thought about decorating. I guess I'll get in to spirit the week before Christmas. Maybe I'm not in the holiday mood because I know I won't get to spend much time with FH this year.

When I'm on Long Island, I always like to drive by those amazingly-decorated houses around the DPA area.

Re: christmas spirit
I went upstate to visit my daughter over the weekend and it was snowing like crazy! We woke up Sunday morning to 6 inches of snow and it woke me up to the fact that it's Christmas! So pretty!! I've been so focused on the wedding that I've kinda pushed Christmas out of my mind. Normally that's what I'm obsessing about right about now!

haha i just posted about the on the 10 boards..
usually i go all out- tons of christmas cookies shoppings always done by the first week or so of december, and then i wrap everything the 2nd week holiday activities, etc.
this year im just like ehhhh.. i think its because im so excited for next year though-it will be our first christmas living together, so i feel like im slacking on this one
