Christmas Store in CT???

FMIL and I are Christmas a holics. . .sounds like a bonding experience!

ok will do im super excited and my mom loves cracker barrel so were having lunch there!! it would be a great bonding experience altough its a 2 hour car drive

If you are going to the Christmas Tree Shop be advised it is NOT just a Christmas store -- it is seasonal merchandise. Right now they will have some Christmas stuff out but it will mostly be Halloween and Fall things.

There is also one in Staten Island that is new so if you didn't want to go all the way to CT you don't have to.

You can get cute stuff there for really good prices but it can be hit or miss.

How do I know all this...my mother is a Christmas Tree Shop junkie. I mean she has been to every one (they are mostly in New England) more then once!

Don't get me wrong it definately worth a ride me and my mom just take little trips there sometimes ... just didn't want you to get there and be totally disappointed.

ooh.. halloween stuff too!! ... i'll have to get my butt over there sometime...
I'm a total christmas junkie too.. and halloween is another one of my favorites.. so that def. sounds like fun!!!

i believe there is one in staten island also. they are supposed to have some really good deals, & they carry other things besides jsut xmas stuff.

The one in Staten Island is right off Highland Blvd. Right by the entrance for the Gothals Bridge.

I didn't realize they were in NY also! Very exciting. I went to school in Boston and we were always getting deals at the Christmas tree shop! I love that store!

Yes they opened one in SI and there has been one in Albany.

I used to live in Boston and there was one 10 min from my apt -- it was great. Where did you go to school?

I was just goign to say this...it's fun though. You'll still have a lot of fun

Yes it's called the Christmas Tree Shop in Danbury CT (there is also a cracker barrell in that location) that is the one you may be going to. Anyway, you will still like it. It has a lot of discounted items for your house etc. Also now that halloween & thanksgiving is coming up they have a lot of backyard decorations, linens, etc. for those holidays. There is even a wedding section (very tiny) but there are some good ideas there.

My mom loves that store. Have fun!!

has any one been there??? my mom and i are christmas junkies and were going tomorrow to CT to the christmas tree store there.. im actually really excited and not quite sure what to expect but i hope its good!

We are Christmas junkies too. I've been to tons of Christmas stores in Penn., Virgina, Upstate etc. I've recently discovered the one in Conn. and my FH and I wanted to go but FMIL keeps inviting herself to come with us and I won't go if she comes because it's going to be an agruement all the way there with her and her husband. I hate when people ruin our fun. My FH and I went to the Milleridge in last night because the Christmas store opened up. Yeah. Have fun!!!!
