I wanted to start playing around with some of my DIY projects, and one includes some kind of pretty wrapping paper, preferably Christmas related (since that's the theme). I'm getting tired to waiting to do everything. Anyone know of any stores that already have it for sale, or am i just gonna have to wait another month???
... probably gonna have to wait, huh?

Yes, I have not yet seen any Christmas stuff at all... Halloween only just started in the stores... Don't worry... this month will fly by and then all you will see is Christmas stuff!

Re: Christmas Wrapping Paper
I went into macy's the other day and there was christmas stuff all over the place. I am sure if you go into a Hallmark in a week or two there will be christmas stuff all over the place.

Re: Christmas Wrapping Paper
When is your wedding.. next year? I am having a christmas theme also. It's probably better waiting until after Christmas (if the wedding is next year of course) this way everything will be on sale.
I am doing a rotating ornament holder for the CP's and am buying a whole bunch of ornaments after Xmas. These are going to be the favors. There is so much you can do and after the holidays you can save 50- 75% off of everything! Good luck and send me some ideas !

Re: Christmas Wrapping Paper
i saw christmas stuff in tj maxx yesterday. i also heard on the news this morning that walmart was doing christmas now. idea apparently is that people will spread out their spending in this tough economy and hopefully the retailers will not lose as much by waiting.

Re: Christmas Wrapping Paper
Costco has wrapping paper out, and its good quality. They have some foil papers are well, which might work good for a card box. I was also in Dollar Tree this weekend and I saw wrapping paper in their, I don't know how good the quality is on that but its cheap if you are just experimenting.

Costco has awesom wrapping paper. Its 400ft its either $8.99 or $9.99 and if you can get the book that has a coupon for it it's $2.00 off.

Re: Christmas Wrapping Paper
I don't know if you have a Christmas Tree Shop store where you are, but there is one in Staten Island and all over New Jersey and they have out Christmas items already. We purchased a bunch of stuff last year. Their prices are unbelievable and they have some amazing things.
Check out their website to see if there is a store by you because I definitely recommend you (and anyone else who needs fall/winter items) go there.
