How did you tip the prist? Do you give each person an envelope...alter boy? prist?organist? I'm so cofused about this.

Great question! I just put a post up about the same thing.... I do know you tip the alter boys/girls. $20 is standard for them. As far as the priest, organist, etc. goes...??? I'd like to know that also!

I don't think you tip the church. I think that is why you pay the Church fee

Priests aren't supposed to accept tips. As for the altar servers and organist, we gave the tips to the wedding coordinator from the church on the night of the rehearsal.

Priests are not supposed to accept tips. The donation to the church is enough. And my priest actually told me that the donation to the church includes the payment for the organist and alter servers so I would check on that.
Since out priest is not actually from the church we are getting married in and a family friend of FH's, we may get him a small thank you gift and also probably tip the alter servers/organist a little something extra and will hand them out after the mass
