Chuck's Hats for Chemo

i read an article in Family Circle while sitting in my dentist's office. this woman has started a charity in memory of her hubby. while he was a chemo patient, she noticed that he was always cold, as chemo patients lose a lot of heat through their head. she made him a hat and the charity took off! she encourages people to make these hats and donate them to their local hospital.

i like this, in that everyone's hard work goes right back into their own community. it is also a good way to use up your yarn scraps while doing a good thing.

i was thinking of calling Good Samatarian Hospital and Southside Hospital
