Ok... I know this is a dumb question but what the heck is a chuppa and whats it used for? I see them on the boards and just have no idea.

A chuppah is used in a jewish ceremony. The bride, groom, rabbi etc all stand underneath it during the entire ceremony.

It is usually four poles with a covering for a roof. It can be decorated with flowers or just plain. It represents the house that the bride and groom will have.
