Chuppah

Chuppah

Did anyone order their chuppah from their florist? How much did it cost and what did the chuppah look like? Was it free standing or were 4 people required to hold the poles?

TIA!

We had our florist embellish the decorations of the structure that the hall has in the ceremony room, but they did have a display of one in their showroom.

It was wrought iron covered with tulle fabric, and was gorgeous.

Not sure of pricing though.

This was ours:

There's a picture of ours in my album. I think we paid around $450. They reused the same flowers to decorate our sweetheart table for the reception.

we didn't get to keep ours, but then again, we didn't even ask if it was an option! our chuppah was bigger than our apt j/k

I think depending on how many flowers you want on it, they average 400-2000 free stanging ones.

Our rabbi comes with her own chuppah, its not too bad looking either, its going to be our indoor rain chuppah and it has supports that hold it up.

Our florist is actully making one for outdoors and staking it into the ground.

You can also stake it into flowerpots.

I got mine from the florist. We got married outside, and wanted a 'rustic' look. She used tree branches and a little bit of greenery winding up the top. It kind of blends into the background in this pic but was stunning in person, and she only charged us $300, including the set-up fee.
