So, I think I might have written before about how my church will not be able to start the ceremony until 3:30 and my CH is at 6:00. The church I want to married in is my old church in Queens. I have moved to LI in 2006 and now I want to change the church to the one near my new house. I called them and left a message. I don't know if they will allow it, since I am not part of that church, but I have cousins who did their sacraments in the church... Anyone else come across a similar situation?

Re: Church
My friend is getting married in the Farmingdale church and she has never went there and isn't even catholic. They should let you as long as the date is open.

Re: Church
i had this same problem being my parish is in Brooklyn, and I wasn't having my wedding in that ghettofied neighborhood. And we did have problems. Some churches require you to be part of the parish in order to 'use' them for your wedding.

Re: Church
Most churches have separate fees for members and non members. Check it out!
