Going to the church tonight to book.. Any helpful advice or last minute things/questions I should be aware of or prepared for?

How did the meeting go with the Church? I am sure everything went fine. We were nervous too when we went to meet with the Priest for the first time.

It went very well ! Thank you for asking. There were no intrusive questions thank goodness !!! I was a little worried when we left though because the meeting was very layed back. The father filled out the paperwork and put in our date, however he appeared to be layed back because 'we have so much time'. I was confused as to whether the meeting locked us into that date because of it being so layed back. FH assured me that it did and not every appointment we have is going to involve such heavy duty contract signing. So I told him that if the time rolls around and we come to find out that they booked another wedding on that date he's going to be in big trouble !! hahahaha
In the meantime we just have to do pre cana and FOCUUS. Besides that all paperwork is needed 6 months prior.

That is exactly the same meeting we had, we really don't have to do anyting for the Church until 6 months before the wedding. but our date is written down and the time. I am so glad everthing went well with you. Aren't you glad that part is done for now?
