Re: Church
Well I guess you should try to book as soon as you know the RH. Actually some churches get offended if you book the FH first rather than them. So if you booked the RH already just stretch the truth a lil.

ooh, i didn't realize you can book so far ahead. i though you had to wait till like 6 months before the wedding date to do it. i guess i need to go and speak with the pastor. i already know, i will have problems, since my church doesn't do wedding on Sundays. Hopefully they will make an exception.

You have to book at least 6 months prior to the date, for like a cooling off period and pre-cana. But you should book as soon as you can.
Churches do not do masses on Sunday, but I believe the do ceremonies. I would speak to your pastor ASAP. Good luck!!

i don't mind if it's not a full mass. I would be happy with a quick 30min. ceremony

When i called my church a while a go they said they don't do weddings on Sunday because they do Christenings. The person i spoke with suggested i talk with the priest or pastor and see if they can work something out. I was going to wait till Jan. 09 to go speak with them, but i guess i should go soon.

Yes that can definitely be a possiblity, double check with your church about the christenings. My church couldn't give me my date bc they set the day aside for christenings but I could have had any other sunday I wanted. I ended up going to another church and booked my date. Call and see what they say, they might do it for you since you're booking so far in advance. Good Luck

Re: Church
The church is the first place you should go. It takes a while to book and you won't believe how many other couples may want your date.

We booked ours as soon as we could... I would say you should try to do the same if having it at a certain church is important to you.
