I booked church at 3pm. I think it is too late.. CH starts at 7 and I want to take pictures in between. Should I bump it up to 2 or 2:30???

Re: Church
3 will give you plenty of time...I dont think you need to change it at all
Our ceremony is at 330 and our CH starts at 7...we arent stressing the amount of time in between, it will all work out so we can get to CH on time

Just a ceremony. RH is 25-30 minutes away however we are going to get a permit to take pictures before we go to RH since Russo's doesnt have outdoor grounds to take pictures. Not quite sure where we are going to take the pics as of right now.

I don't think you have to change the time at all. My church starts at 3pm and CH starts at 7:30...i'm worried its too long in between.
If your mass ends at 4:15, even leave the church at 5, they still gives you 2 hrs to take pics b4 your CH starts.

Re: Church
I think you are fine with 3, I had mine at 230 and was worried it was too early because I am not doing full mass and my CH was supposed to start at 6. I was worried about what Id do with my guests in between the cocktail hour and church. Do you have a lot of out of town guests?

Re: Church
Honestly, your fine....you have to take into consideration that your hair and makeup need to be done way early so you can get pics taken @ your house and stuff before the ceremony, so you don't want to have that done too early because then by 7 your hair and makeup may not look as fresh. my ceremony is @ 2:30 and it's only 30min long....my cocktail hour starts at 6:30pm so this gives me 3 1/2 hours for pics in between, to me thats more than enough time. Your fine!

Re: Church
we are having our ceremony at 2 and having our CH to start at 7 so that way we don't miss ANY of the CH
I don't think you need to change it, that looks like plenty of time...

Re: Church
i think 3 is perfectly fine!! I guess it depends on where you want pics taken but you dont want to have too much time between church and rh for your guests!!

Re: Church
I'd leave as is. My ceremony (full mass) is at 2:30 in Bay Shore and my reception is at 6 in Garden City. I'm really not stressing.
