Church
I want to get married at a church that I am not a member of. Does the church make a big deal out of that?

I know in my church you have to be a member of the parish to get married there. The church is a popular church though. I would call and ask the church, it probably just depends on the church. You could call the rectory and check with them. They will let you know what you need to do.
I'm a member of Our Lady of Lourdes parish (Massapequa), but I don't want to get married there. I want to get married at St. Rose of Lima (Massapequa). I did go to grammer school at St. Rose so maybe that can get me in..........
I am getting married at a church that I am not a member of. Its not too big of a deal. What you do have to do is go to your church, that you are registered at and get a letter of freedom allowing you, essentially to get married out of parish (they have to annouce the bands of marriage for you) then 6 months prior you have to get your baptismal certificate from your church!
