Church Called !!! Pre Cana

So , The church called , got our deposit ,, whopps did i say deposit , I meant to say , 'donation',,,

sooooo anyways , we signed up for pre cana now..

We could have done it in june, but my fh works like a dog in the summer , Thats his time,, so we went with october,,

I though it was a 6 month thing,, Its a friday night & the following saturday , & done,, Thats awsome,,

just thought Id share...

Yeah we had a choice first week in Feb or first week in Aug. We're going to do August just to get it over with. And I hear ya on the 'donation' thing. When my mother got married it was what you could afford to give to the church as an offerring. Some people didn't have it, so they gave noithing, and it was fine. Now it's 350.00 plus 175.00 for pre-cana. Crazy I tell you. It all boils down to money. Thats NO joke!!

U aint lying,, My brother got married in the same church I am, it was like $200 then , & that was 10 years ago,, Im paying $500..
Plus I want the priest that did all my sacriments , which he is now in hauppauge , so im sure there will be a price tag on that too,,

There are a bunch of Sacred Hearts. My church is in Island Park where Darren and I live, and have made our sacrements. I'm surprised their not charging more!! I better hush before it goes up by next year.

Thats funny, Mike went to St Agnatis, ( cant spell that one) He grew up in baldwin, thats close to you ,,

Mike rides & we go for rides alot in that area in the summer, so whenever u hear the loud noise, think of us,, LOL

Definately will. Places on the water here are great in the summer. You should take a ride down, and we'll do lunch or something as couples. Lots of bikes too!!

i want to call my church to see what is going on, I sent my deposit back in October and they havent called yet to tell me when we have to go for pre cana

we do go down to the beahc alot, thats our ride, point lookout area,,

as soon as the wether breaks we go more, now he just goes alone , to cold 4 me,,

Girlfriend,, U had better get moving ,, & When u got to the church, dont tell em u booked the hall first. Im sure you know that all ready , but alot of churches frown on that ,,

Yea my mom told me the same thing. My church is $500 and $600 if you want to use the organist.
