I am trying to find a church in Nassau that does a Saturday morning ceremony around 10 am....so far I can only find ones for 11 and that is too late.
Anyone know of any?

i think it may be hard because 10 am it will get in the way of daily mass

Ugh I dont remeber the earliest time of a wedding at my church on a Sat moring because I took the 330. But I think it was 1030 or something. Call St.Rose of Lima in Massapequa.

Yea, My church is 11am also. I think it will be difficult to find earlier, since they do a Sat morning mass, or sometimes a funeral.
But it wouldn't matter, since we are getting married the same date!

Yea for 7/17/2010lol. So you are getting married at 11 but what time does your coctail hour start? I am so worried since mine starts at 12:30 and I dont want to be rushed.

you can have 10am or 11am on saturdays at corpus christi church in mineola.
ETA: my mass is at 11:00 and my CH starts at 1:00.

Silly question but if you're CH starts at 12:30, when does your reception start and end? Will you be serving lunch?

I was worried about the timing as well. I am having a 1 o'clock CH, since the church isn't until 11.
We are just going to have a ceremony I believe...so hopefully we have enough time, since the RH isn't close to the church at all.

Usually the mass's they do at 10:00 are for Funeral's, then the next one after that is at 11:00. What time is your cocktail hour?

If you are just doing a ceremony and the CH starts at 12:30...as long as the church isn't too far from the RH, I think it should be ok.
You may not make it to your CH, but the guests definitely will.
The churches and RH don't like to make it easy for us for the afternoon weddings!!

Does it have to be a Catholic church, because I know the United Church of Christ is pretty flexible. Ucc.org\ for locations
