On the way into church, do the Groomsmen walk the Bridesmaids down the isle or do they stand near the altar and the Bridesmaids walk down alone?

You can do it however you want. The GM's can all be ushers for guests, and wait up at the altar, and each girl can walk down. Or, the Groom and his BM can be up at the altar, while the other BM's get ushered in by a GM, the MOH walks by herself, etc. You can configure it any way you want, so long as they are all up there when you come in . . . .
yeah i have seen both. i have seen just the bridemaids walk down the aisle alone and i have also seen the bridesmaids start out walking down alone and then halfway down, the Groomsmen came out of a pew and walked the rest of the way down the aisle with them. or, they could start off walking down together
You can do it either way, if you want the girls to walk alone they can and the GMs can walk up with FH. Or they can walk the girls, there really is no right or wrong for this
