Is anyone having a hard time getting a call back from their church? I have left 3 messages and went to the parish once, only to have the receptionist tell me I have to wait for a callback from the priest, this is giving me much anxiety and really feels like a let down, is anyone else having this much trouble? is there anything else I can try?
When we were booking the Church it did take the priest a while to call me back. When was the last time you contacted the church? I'd give them a week after your last contact, if you don't hear anything I'd try calling again.
The church was by far the most difficult vendor for us to book. They are incredibly disorganized since they aren't run like a business. I had the best luck trying to call right after 9:00 mass during the week. Try between 10 AM and 11 AM.
We called the rectory and just set up an appointment, we didn't have to wait for phone calls. Maybe just pop in there one afternoon and ask for an appointment?
I'm so happy that i'm not dealing with this. It started a war in my very italian house...but i am soooo happy that i convinced my parents to let me get married at the RH!
