how much to church usually charge??

My Church is $800, includes organist and Foccus. PreCana is separate and costs $80.

i'm paying a 'donation' of 700, which includes the organist. this does not include an additional unspecified 'donation' that is expected after the wedding...

$500 for the church. We dont know what the organist is yet...I am sure it will be around $750 total

My donation, which wasn't enough since the Monsignor did an amazing job was $500. Plus the organist's fee of $125 and pre-cana. All told it was $775...well worth it!

My church is $450.00 (this includes the organist and cantor, although I am not using as I have friends that are musicians that will do that for me for nothing and I want to include them in my Mass not to mention they are much better than the churcxh musicians.) You should also tip the altar boy a little something---they love that! ($10.00 - 20.00 is plenty) My friend's son is going to be our Altar boy, I will probably get him some sort of gift.

$50.00 for parish Pre-Cana

Pre-Cana weekends through the Diocese are much more expensive, $350-400 although I heard they are very good---we might do that too.

I got married at St. Agnes Cathedral in RVC - it was $250 for the officiant, $250 for the music.

You got a great deal on the music there---the musicians at St. Agnes are AMAZING..THE best around! Michael, the organist is a good friend of mine and will be playing my Mass even though I am not getting married at St. Agnes.

Mine was $750 for the church and that didn't include precaner. The precaner was an additional $150. Plus we tipped the day of. It was close to $1000. Then of course there is the string quartet which we opted to have, which is extra $$. It's all but it sets a nice tone and you only do it once, hopefully.
