Can you please show me what you ladies are doing to decorate your church, besides flowers, what are you ladies using on the pews? bows? are you doing them on every pew or just half??? Any pics please really would help!

our church as these really pretty candelabras that attach to the pews they use them around christmas time but because the priest is a friend of the family they agreed to let us use them for the ceremony. we're probably going to add more candles by the altar. we're having an evening ceremony so we felt that candles everywhere fit better than flowers plus its saving us alot of money

I think we're just going to do bows on the pews and two altar arrangements. Its a ceremony not a mass, plus I figure since its Friday not as many people are going to go. Unless the florist throws something else in

we are doing hanging lanterns with LED tea lights. We are not doing every pew though. They way my church is, there are 14 pews in the back, a split, and then an additional 16 pews in the front. We are just doing the front part of the church and only every 3rd or 4th pew (we'll see which looks better). We want to encourage our guests to sit closer and fill the pews.

My friend/DOC is going to be going to the church about 45 minutes before the start time to set up the pews. We are going to have everything ready to go though beforehand, like tying the ribbons on the lanterns and have the lights in each so she doesn't have to do that at the church. It'll help save time.
ETA: if you are not having DOC, you can maybe see if an aunt or a closer friend can do this for you.

I wasnt' sure if I wanted to spend the money on this, but I decided to go for it..
we are doing pew bows with flowers and then two altar urns.
The florist said sometimes the church makes you leave the urns there as a donation so I have to see about that.. if not, then I'm totally bringing them to the hall with us!! Don't want to waste them!!

We are doing feather wreaths. I am only doing flowers at the front of the church. Me and my bridesmaids won't even be carrying flowers. I actually don;t like flowers at all.... lol

we are opting not to decorate the church since they are beutiful already and not within our budget. Im hoping it doesnt look too empty....

i'm making my own pew pows, and i'm diy an isle runner as well. total cost is minimal. but i'm only doing pew bows on about 14 (7 on each side)
