church decorations

Do I really need to make bows for the pews?
Someone tell me no, I don't need to, because I am really lazy and don't want to make them/buy them.

but if you want to, they sell them at dollar tree - they have some that are 2 for $1 and others that are $1 each and a little bit nicer

Thanks! I was at the dollar tree today in baldwin, and they had practically nothing. Where else is there a dollar tree that has a lot of stuff?

i havent been there in a while but the one i usually go to is in commack

I'm going through the same thing right now! I've been saying all along I wasn't going to bother decorating the church, as no one really pays attention to that. We have a little wiggle room in our budget though, and so I want to make the half- pomanders to hang off every other pew, but i dont really know what to do. Has anyone made one before? The website below has an image of basically what I want, but the foam seems small, no? what do you think?

we're doing pew bows and flowers. I don't even know how much it's costing us.

I don't think it's necessary at all though. Don't stress about them!
