Re: Church Decorations
I was going to buy bows for the pews and maybe some tulle to make it a little poofy. I didn't want to do too much since we'll only be in there for a short amount of time.

Re: Church Decorations
We decided against flowers in the church because 1 - we didnt have more money in our flower budget and 2- a church really is breathtaking and beautiful even without all the flower arrangements!

I agree that bows on the pews and tulle is sufficient and pretty!

Re: Church Decorations
Just a suggestion...before you spend any money make sure you check with your church on what they allow you to do. Some churches are very strict on this (some make you get flowers through them). There are some that don't allow runners, etc.

Re: Church Decorations
You could put bows on the pews or toule draped across the pews. Decorations are not a must! My parents spent a small fortune on flowers for the Mass, and it turns out it was decorated from First Communions anyway!

Re: Church Decorations
I was going to decorate the church with flowers for my wedding. But I wanted to then use the same flowers at the RH. I found out that according to the church we are getting married at, any flowers brought into the church stay there as a donation. So I decided against putting any flowers in the church. We are just putting bows on the first three pews instead. Its easier, and costs a lot less money.
