Church Fees

What does everyone have to pay?

My church charges $500 and then $150 for the Cantor and another $100 for something else...$750!!!

Is this normal??

Yes it is. Mine is actually a lot more than that.

I'm paying about the same plus a $200 deposit to make sure we make it on time.

considering most RH's charge 500 for doing the reception there, and most officiants charge near 500, it's about comparable to doing it at the hall....

$200 deposit and then two separate checks are due on the date of the ceremony (one for $250 and another for $750). We get our $200 deposit back so long as the rehearsal and ceremony start on time, no one is drunk at the ceremony (i will personally kill ppl if they show up drunk to church.. FH included ) and no one can throw anything as we leave the church (rice, petals, etc).
