Church Music

Okay girls, I need your help. Ya know we went to the church to pick out the music for our Nuptual Mass. But go figure, I forgot to ask them to write down the songs we went with so that I could put it into our Program. Can you all help me out with commonally used songs for church and maybe I will reconize them....

Song for Seating of Parents

Song for Wedding Processional... (I know for certain I did go with bridal chorus)

Song for the Bride (I and did go with 'here comes the bride'... what other songs are used?)

Recessional This I belive I used the Wedding March...

TIA

Re: Church Music

This is great, thank you.

I think I choose this song for myself to walk down the isle too: Canon in D - Johann Pachelbel

Is that bad?? I think it is recommended that the bridal party walks to that... hummm...

Re: Church Music

I don't think its bad, just probably not as popular, 'cause the 'Bridal Chours' is more traditional - that's what I wanted.

That site gives you suggestions for each part of the Ceremony.

Make an appointment with your music director, so they can play the music for you -- that's what I did. I wasn't familiar with the titles, but once I heard them I knew which ones I liked for what.

And ask them what they think of 'Cannon D' for the Bride?
