Church Question...

Silly question:

Im trying to plan out the whole ceremony for my rehearsal this Friday...

We are giving the tip envelopes for the Alter Boys/Girls to the best man beforehand so he can give it to them. When should he give them the tips? Before the ceremony? After? He is walking back up the aisle with the rest of us during the recessional so how would he give them the tips after? And I think its weird to give it to them before bc where would they put it?

in my church packet it says to tip the alter boys/girls (give envelopes) before the ceremony....

im guessing they either have pockets in their attire or they have clothes on underneath or a place to put it on the side/back of the church...but those are just my assumptions
