We are getting married in FH's church for various reasons. Our priest asks that I get a letter indicationg that the Banns of marriage will be published in my parish...I do not know what this is...does anyone else? Thank you in advance for any clarification you can send my way

Yeah I know my Fh has to get that to too! Not sure how to do it either, i guess i will have to call the church tomorrow. I toatlly forgot about it, thanks for the reminder!

Yeah, while I am off this week, I would like to take care of this, but it would be helpful to go in knowing a bit about what I am asking for...there is always google, but I figure someone on here will know or has had to do it already

You should call your rectory. For 3 weeks before your wedding they list the wedding banns in the parish bulletin.
