My sister is looking for a church to get married in. Her FH didn't make all his sacrements. Does he need to? Or are there churches that will allow them to marry?? He was baptized though. But nothing else.

Re: Church Questions
if her fh is Catholic, get him ready for some sunday schooling as they will not marry a Catholic in a Catholic Church that has not done (with proof) all of them...hence why i am happy mine is on premises *shamefully no confirmation*

Re: Church Questions
No some Catholic churches will still let you marry even if one is not Catholic. I know of at least one girl who is Catholic and her FH isnt and they are marrying in a Catholic Church.
Our Lady of Lourders in West Islip is one that will let you.
Also, some may make you sign something promising that you will receive the missing sacraments with in 6 months of marriage.
My sister is also marrying some one who is Catholic, but has only been baptized. The are getting married in a Catholic Church.

yeah someone who is not catholic but getting married in a catholic church is not a problem...i am not catholic but getting married in a catholic church...however i do have to give them my baptism certificate
however it is different if you are catholic and haven't done everything you need to do...she said the person is catholic just haven't done everything.

Re: Church Questions
Some Catholic Churches will allow a Catholic and Non-Catholic to get married. They will not offer the Eucharist though.
