Since we are only have a ceremony at the church and not a full mass, how many readers do we need to have? I thought two, but now I'm not sure. Is it one reader? We are getting married in a Catholic church.

We're doing a ceremony and we have 2 readers, one for the first reading and one for the reading.

You have to have two readers for the two readings. But also someone for the Prayer of the Faithful, so a total of 3 readers.

Originally, the priest had told us we'd only need 1 reader, but we requested to have 2 readings since we wanted both our godmothers to do readings.
ETA: There was no prayer of the faithful in our ceremony.
