How far in advance did your church let you book the rehearsal?
I know they probably won't let me yet, but I wasn't sure what is common.

I booked my rehearsal about 2 months ago for my July wedding so that is about 6-7 months before. I might have even been able to do it sooner but I never tried

i booked the rehearsal day when i booked the actual day of the wedding.
but i have to change it to the thurs instead of fri i want a day in between the rehearsal and wedding lol
your church should let you book it now!

Pete's church doesn't let us book until 3 months before. I have to call ASAP so that I can get it the week before Halloween!

Prob the sooner the better, so you can have first picks! It's def not too early for you to do it. I'm sure the church won't give you a prob. I waited a lil, we did it just the other day, which was a lil less than 4 months prior.

how soon should i think about booking the rehearsal dinner? we aren't having a rehearsal since we are getting married at the fox hollow ... and fh's parents are paying, so i am not sure how to bring that up ...but i always thought i would book it in summer, is that too late? we are probably having it on a friday night, the day before the wedding since fh's parents want all the out of towners invited, and they will not be here on thursday night, which is when i'd rather have it ...

over 1 1/2 year, as they were almost all booked up already for a june wedding, we booked it the same time we booked the wedding with them.

My church made me complete all the 'requirements' they had before I could book rehearsal. (ie: Foccus, pre cana, meeting with deacon, signing forms, etc) but my church seems to have way more rules than others

I just booked my rehearsal about 3 weeks ago for end of April... I think it just depends on teh time of year and how many weddings there are around when yours is... I say just call your parish office and ask. The worst they can say is that you have to wait!
