I was just curious...do I decide when to have the rehearsal or the priest tells me? FH and I will be doing our pre-cana in a couple of weeks and I was wondering once its done if the rehearsal day/time gets set up then??

I think the Church is supposed to contact you and inform you of rehearsals. When we booked our date, the Deacon of our church told us our rehearsal would be the day before our wedding. We are not having a mass though, just a ceremony.

our Church told us that we will receive either a letter or phone call in January to let us know all the information. if i don't receive anything by January 15, i will be calling them.

our church told us someone would contact us 3 months prior to the wedding. i really didn't have much of a choice with the date though.

I guess it would all depend on when you priest is available.
I know my friend got married on a Friday night and had her rehearsal on Wednesday.
I am hoping to do ours 2 days prior as well because I don't want to have that stress the day right before the wedding.
