Does anyone know of any methodist churches in Suffolk County, Preferably in the Patchogue to Mt Sinai Area, that have center aisles? My FH's 2 churches have side aisles and I want to walk down a center aisle. We agreed wed get married methodist, by his old minister, but I am not happy about the no center aisle issue. Is that a methodist thing? (im catholic) Anyone have any suggestions?? Can ministers preform whereever they want? I am completely clueless

I wish I could help, but maybe you can contact his minister to ask if they can perform a ceremony anywhere. Catholic priests can only do a ceremony within the church, but I don't know about the others. good luck!

im not sure how everything works. i know there is a methodist church near me, in bellport. its not far from patchogue. the bellport methodist church. i havent been inside but maybe you could check it out. i also think there is a methodist church on north ocean ave right in patchogue across from jays fabric store.....i could be wrong...hth.
