Can someone help me out, I am trying to plan my wedding cross country. What is the going rate for having a wedding in a church? Thanks.

Re: Churches
depends on which one. I've heard all different types of prices. I'm at a RC church and I'm paying $750 Edited to add: I'm an active member!

Re: Churches
Churches vary - a lot. I've heard rates from $300 to $1250 for parishiners. Non-parishiners range from $500-1500.

Re: Churches
It all depends on the church. I know in my neighborhood churchs are anywhere from $300-$1000. I am paying $200 because I am a active parishioner in my chucrh.

Re: Churches
Really depends on the church - I'm getting married in the Hamptons and I'm a non-parishoner and they're only charging me $200!

Re: Churches
I am Catholic and mine comes to $425
$300 for the church $125 for the organist
plus you figure in about $50-$100 in tips for altar servers.
where are you planning from? where are you getting married?

Re: Churches
I am a parishioner and it is $350 for the church and $150 for the organist. We are also 'required' to tip the 2 altar servers $10 each 1 week before.
