Quick background... I'm Catholic and my FI is Methodist... I know he would get married at a Catholic Church for me... but I don't want to close my mind to any other options.

FYI
Just so you know.. must churches require you to live in the parish or be registered as a member to get married there.

Our church you do not have to be a member. But you do give a bigger donation
I am using St Jude RC Church in Brooklyn. I am a member of the church.
Where do u live maybe you should consider that in your church decision.

You should probably be basing this decision on how much you enjoy the church community, not how the church looks-that doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things.
Why don't you try going to mass at some churches in your area and join the one that you connect with the most? Then go speak with the Priest about getting married there.
