Cigar roller or cigar table

Cigar roller or cigar table

I am debating in my head wether I want to book a cigar roller or set up a cigar table...
The roller I would get 75 cigars...The table I would get two/three boxes of cigars...Either way I go I have to get cigar cutters and some kind of matches/lighter for everyone to use...

What do you think would be the most cost effective?

I am interested in this too as a surprise to FH. I think either one will do, but not having to worry about the logistics of it may be better on your wedding day, so you can just enjoy the reception. But if your FH is pretty good at it, then just ask him to help light some of them.

Cigar-catering.com has decent pricing as well as the Little Cigar Factory. Just google it and you can find some pretty inexpensive ones.

I love the idea of a cigar roller but I know my family can be picky. I am going to do a cigar table for a few reasons. I want my guest to have a couple options of the type of cigar and secondly. Some people do not like the smell of fresh tabacco and I don't want to subject those people to have to smell it.

I am doing this as a thank you to my Dad he loves cigars. He doesn't know it yet and he won't until the day of the wedding.

(*so Lauren if you read this this is Hush Hush! )

I won't tell anyone!!!! I hope you don't mind, but we are actually doing the same thing. I know I posted it earlier on here so I hope you don't think I am copying you. I totally agree about our family being picky about the brands of the cigars, etc., and when I talked to my parents about this, they felt the same way. A cigar table for our family is just much more practical. I will be doing this toward the end of the evening, like during VH, not during CH. When were you thinking of doing it??

I dont mind at all, I didn't even notice your post about it! haha! i was planning on doing it during cake and cordials. I figure have the staff bring it out while we are cutting the cake and everyones attention will be distracted by us. Then when we are done with the whole routine it will be there by the cordials for anyone to enjoy. We arn't having a VH since the wedding is ending at 1:30am as it is. I personally want everyone inside enjoying the food during CH not outside for a stogie. Thanks for keeping the secret though. Jennifer is the only one who knows.

Okay great I'm glad you don't mind. I think your timing for the cigar table is perfect (I feel the same way about wanting everyone to be enjoying the CH, not smoking lol). And I certainly don't blame you for not wanting to have a VH since the wedding is ending at 1:30. The only reason we are having one is because we added the extra hour to our wedding - I didn't want to take away much time from dancing.
