am i supposed to have the cigar roller during the coctail hour or sometime during the reception?????????????????????????

ummmm i think toward the end of the nioght is better because peopel are gonna go outside and you dont wat that. cigars take a long time to smoke. but honestly i think CT hour is fine too because people mingel. Either is fine i think. we are having a character artist but she will start after we are introduced

I think it would be best to do it at the end of the night when they start to serve cordials. People like to drink scotch and smoke a cigar...

ok, i feel better.
i asked them to be there after dinner. the reason i asked was because i just read in vhb that there is a bride looking for cigar rollers for her cocktail hour AND I FREAKED OUT.

I've seen it done during the CH and during the reception (around the cake/cordial/viennese.)

u dont want peplee going out at CT hour, staying out there and missing your entrance...better after dinner, good choice...

I think a Cigar roller is very fun and I can not wait to have mine, It will be original at least at my wedding. I have gone to weddings where they had magicians and Everyone had alot of fun with him, they entertain guests and people enjoy something diffrent.

When I was reading this thread and read that about the Character pictures, I was actually going to FM that bride and ask her for the information because I think that is so cute and a different idea!!! I love it!
And as far as the cigar roller, it is definitely your preference. I was thinking about doing it, and if I did then I would have him come towards the end of the night. Just my preference

And to answer the ORIGINAL question; I had the cigar roller during the CH because we had it outside. The roller was set up, ready to roll (sorry for the pun ). It was a huge success.
Others have chosen to set them up during dinner. Which is also another great idea!
