i am interested in getting cigar rollers (and cigars) for the cocktail hour, which will be partially outside. i'm concerned that my guests will reek of cigars for the remainder of the wedding. anyone have input? have you been to a wedding with cigars?
ps it's not worth it to me to do it at the end of the night because it will be dark and colder outside by then - plus i don't want people leaving the dance floor to smoke. so it's either cocktail hour or no cigar.
TIA!

Re: cigar rollers
I wouldn't worry about people smelling of smoke!!! I doubt that would be something that you would even notice... People will be stepping outside to smoke no matter what, whether it be cigarettes or cigars, so I doubt that number of smokers will go up THAT much if you have a roller there!
i think that having a cigar roller is such a great idea, in fact my FH wants one and my dad would LOVE it, but I pretty much dismissed the idea because I assumed that it would be too expensive.. how much do they usually cost?

Re: cigar rollers
We had cigar roller for our wedding in May 2009. We booked with La Rosa Cubana and their package begins at $500 which included 75 cigars. This was a big hit at our wedding. Everyone came up and get a cigar. We did it during the cocktail hour. It was so much fun !

Re: cigar rollers
Usually the cigar smokers like to go off a little away from the crowd anyways (I think it's part of the cigar culture!) so I wouldn't worry about it too much. if you know that your dad or BM or anyone would definitely be a smoker, you could ask them beforehand to help to casually move the smokers away from the crowd.
