I have been contemplating the idea of having a cigar roller at my wedding, since all of the men in my family love them! I have been reading some reviews about it taking away from the wedding, since it's about an hour.... has anyone done this yet? If so, any suggestions on if I should just put them out during the CH or if it was a success? Thanks!!

Re: Cigar Rollers???
I had one during CH it definitely did NOT take away from my wedding if anything it added to it. My guest's loved it and the men said the cigars were really great quality too. Most of them took more than one to enjoy at another time. My Dad was really impressed too and he is a big cigar smoker!
I used La Rosa Cigars, they were great!

Re: Cigar Rollers???
I honestly just look all over LIW
I think the prices I saw was $800-$1000 for an actual cigar roller at the venue for an hour, and then about half that for cigars that you can put out on your own

Re: Cigar Rollers???
we are totally getting a cigar roller.. lots of the guys in my fam like them, and i have to admit i loooove cigars too... hahaha! i am going to get him during CH so that people can have their cigars and step out for a few minutes to smoke anytime they'd like... i think it will be nicer that way than to have them at VH, since there really won't be an opportunity to smoke them at that point. i'm not worried about it taking away from the wedding at all, it's not like people need to spend the entire hour standing around the cigar guy!

Re: Cigar Rollers???
This is the exact reason why we changed our minds about having the cigar roller. If we're spending $15 a person for the Viennese hour, I would like for people to be inside eating it lol

Re: Cigar Rollers???
We did it during the cocktail hour. Instead of paying for a cigar roller, we ended up ordering cigars online (my dad's a HUGE cigar fan). We did it during cocktail hour because we had A LOT of cigar fans coming to the wedding and my dad pointed out, people bring cigars with them to a wedding and if they aren't given any, then they smoke what they brought. We wanted our guests to smoke what we bought so they went outside either during cocktail hour, after dinner, when it's was just dancing, whenever. They would have went outside anyway if they brought their own and with 220 guests, we really didn't notice that a lot of people were missing at the same time.

LaRosa was less then that. with the actual roller present. Their prices are on their site just do a google search for them.
Also rememeber you don't need 1 cigar pp not everyone is going to take/smoke them.
Lastly, we had it at CH and if anyone went out to have one during the reception we definitely didn't notice. I really don't think many people did. It was mostly just during CH.
