cigar roller...yay or nay

Original post by MrsC2010

i was thinking of getting a cigar roller at the wedding...i think it would be a nice thing to have at the wedding but i don't want ppl to be outside all night smoking cigars.

any thoughts on this?

Maybe have one for the last hr....

At my wedding we had a terrace attached to our room so we set up a table with cigars and matches. I t was a nice touch, and not as big a distraction as someone coming in and setting up shop to start rolling HTH

the last wedding I went to - they didn't have a cigar roller they had boxes of cigars during viennese hour - I thought that was a good idea

You don't notice the smell - and people will go outside all night to smoke cigarettes anyway

We are going to do it b/c it works well with the theme. I haven't started to price them out yet, but I heard Little Cigar Factory is good. My father, FH and his family like cigars, and I think it'll be nice touch.

I saw them at a showcase, it certainly is entertaining and I would get one, but no one I know smokes cigars. So I suppose I'm saying if it's in your budget, go for it.

MY FH and his GM's love to have a cigar after any special event. It's their way of bonding and celebrating, so I was thinking of surprising FH with this for the cordial hour (last hour of the reception)

I think this is what I am going to do too! FH and his GM love them after special events. I think he would really enjoy this.. I do like the set up of the table to cut some costs.

Yes, we had it and it was a great hit! We had the cigar roller during cocktail hour only.

Thats a good idea. What do you think about doing it during cake? I can just picture all the men standing outside with cigars and their drinks in their hands...
