Re: cigar rolling at reception
i havent' ha it done - as i am not yet married. but at a showcase we were at - they had a vendor there for it - and i think it was $1000 for 100 cigars rolled right there on the spot by an authentic cuban cigar roller.
i think it's a unique idea....

Re: cigar rolling at reception
My FH and I were thinking of doing this but you have to take into account the new smoking laws. You cant smoke in any hall (in fact the law actually states that you cant smoke within 500 feet of any entrance) then if you do it outside at some point during your reception you run the risk of having half of the male guests outside while the party is going on inside. We really wanted to do this but are now rethinking! Just a thought! I do know that the little cigar shop is good! My FH went to a cigar dinner at the Vanderbuilt and they were there! and one of my BMs was an event planner there and has worked with them many times and says they are great! Good Luck

In addition to the other great ideas these girls had...maybe you can put a post on the vendor board (but you may have done or thought about that already).

Re: cigar rolling at reception
if you are directing that at me....sorry to disappoint you. But all i keep reading is Broadway favors and their horror stories and crystal int'l and theirs. I had success at this place and they did right by me...therefore, I am spreading the word. I booked Body Rock and Pedestals and John Warren Wright studies. I praised them when I booked them. Now i am up to the next stage and when I am happy....i will let people know!!!!!! .

Re: cigar rolling at reception
No one said I posted them here. I am obviously new and i thought this was all about positive experiences. If you have been on that long...maybe you should actually consider getting 'married'...instead of insulting and accusing newcomers. And by the way, I commented on Caffe on the Green too!

Re: cigar rolling at reception
First off, we see a lot of shady vendors come on here and try to promote their businesses by posing as Brides. Normally the new people introduce themselves, so when someone comes on and just starts promoting one vendor people get suscipious.
No need to insult people here. If you are truly a bride then welcome! If you are a vendor don't let the door hit you on the way out!

Re: cigar rolling at reception
Thanks! I didn't know about introductions...i came on and just saw a bunch of opinions...so i jumped in...ok, hopefully we can start over. I guess i got my point accross about my favorite 'right now' vendor. lol But....when someone asks about DJ's, or Florists, you will see me actively praising again....
