So...FH really wanted cigars at the wedding but i didnt really want a roller because i knew all the men at the wedding would hover around him and wonder from the reception... what we did instead was hire a cigar server.... like the old days...a woman all dolled up is going to walk around from table to table with the old cigarette style trays offering cigars to our guests. she will know all about the different styles and offer ones that each person may prefer (taste wise)...the men are going to love her!
yeah...i thought it was a cool idea...glad i came across it...the company i found charges $275 for the server then it depends on what cigars you pick and how many you need....

this is the one thing FH did on his own. since he's from the bronx, he went to the cigar roller in the market on arthur ave and the roller actually comes with the girl who will be all dressed up....i thought it was a pretty cool idea too
i was just happy he did something on his own for this wedding!!! (without being told to do it)

That's pretty much what we were gonna do. Well actually since FH is a cigar freak (he has over 400, eek!) he was going to set the humidor up on the bar or something. But now I'm definately checking this out!

FH really wants something like this but I'm worried that a lot of the men will wind up outside smoking cigars. So I keep on telling him no but maybe if we had the cigar girl coming during our VH it might work.

yes..you can get the roller and the girl too but i am going the less expensive route and just getting her....plus i am having a winter wedding so not too many people will go outside to smoke... she will be coming for the last 2 hours of the reception to give her enough time to hit all the tables. If you have a VH i think thats the best time for a roller as well because then guests wont run out on the party!

ur so right about having it at VH...it's funny b/c FH was thinking during CH but when he went to the cigar roller and asked him, he said definitely do it during VH b/c people won't leave and smoking kind of settles the stomach after u've eaten alot

FH will be so happy if I tell him he can have a cigar girl at the VH. I will have to emphasize ONLY at the VH. I sent in a request for the company to contact me...thanks for the info.
