Re: Cinderella
I have seen cinderella invitations and cake toppers. Do a cinderella wedding search and a whole bunch of stuff shows up.

Re: Cinderella
I've seen a couple weddings with the Cinderella Theme. Some of it was girly, other parts weren't as much. I've seen some very nice Cinderella invitations that are all white (no girly frills or colors on it). Also somebody i knew had Cinderella's pumpkin coach figurine for the centerpieces. They were made of glass- very beautiful! My sister also had this theme and was VERY girly - she had this whole montage of my BIL coming out with her 'glass' slipper. He tried it on all of her Bridesmaids, and then found her. lol. She's such a dork, but it was ADORABLE! They also had a castle caketopper. Somebody else i know did 'So This is Love' for their first dance as husband & wife with a fog machine to make it look like they were dancing on clouds (just to keep with the fairytale theme).
So there's a LOT you can do with Cinderella - but to make it ungirly may be difficult. She's just a girly Disney Classic, so there's not much you can do to make Cinderella manly. heehee.

Re: Cinderella
I'm not sure how to do Cindarella without being too girly. One thing I will say is stay away from everything being pink. I know that's my favorite color but it drives FH crazy...I have a feeling it's what would be considered too 'girly' by your FH as well.

Re: Cinderella
don't do pink... go with white/ice blue as color theme? since that was her dress color, I always associate blue with her lol

Re: Cinderella
my friend had a cinderella themed wedding she is cindy! or at least played one at a popular destination...
she had the white cinderella invites that someone else mentioned.. no colors it was white/ ivory shades... she had the l.e.n.o.x cinderella cake topper, and the only other thing that stands out is there was a 'glass Slipper' ice sculpture at her cocktail hour. Her dress looked like Belle's minus of course it WAS white.

Re: Cinderella
p.s. as DH said while we were planning ours- no matter what you do or how much you try not to have it be overly girly... it's a wedding! it's a girl day! it's going to be girly no matter what you do

lol. that's true. There's only so much you can do, but in the end it kind of just IS a girly day. I think the only way i stayed away from it being too much for him to handle was by not having Pink as our color scheme, not giving the room too much tule & frills (including the BM dresses), and not having any extremely girly songs for any of our main dances (etc - like anything by Celine Dion) lol. Fh is VERY grateful! I did what I could

Re: Cinderella
just look up cinderella wedding or castle wedding and you are sure to find something. Keep your colors to white/ice blue/silver...

Re: Cinderella
Maybe you can stick with things that are used from fairytales like cinderella. Like, maybe the invitations can have a pumpkin and the vines that made up the carriage. You could maybe incorporate little birds or animals like a fairytale forest kind of thing.
Maybe just a glass slipper kind of theme...umm.....that's all I got right now lol
