I'm just looking to get some ideas for my cinderella wedding. I want my BM to wear a light blue gown, but i;m not sure what color flowers to use. I'm also looking for centerpiece ideas. I was planning a silk flower arrangement with a coach, or castle in the center. Then i thought of an eched vase with cindy and the prince along with our names and date.-I'm just not sure. I'm looking for any ideas. But what color(s) would go with the light blue? Thanks for all the help.

Re: Cinderella Wedding
a cream or ivory would probably look best with light blue, a light purple could look really nice too.

Re: Cinderella Wedding
i ahd a cinderella wedding. my girls wore the light blue dresses and i used all silk flowers. my centerpieces were the iron coach painted white with white, blue and pink flowers. then i had 4 white votives around it. also i rented light blue organza material to overlap the table cloth. it really made the centerpiece stand out. good luck.

Re: Cinderella Wedding
creme flowers would be SO pretty! My friend just had a big cinderella themed wedding...some of the things she did :
1) she had a little golden carraige on top of the ringbearer pillow..it opened up like a jewelry box & had the rings inside
2) she had a real cinderella carraige take her & her dad to the church. It was gorgous.
3) her centerpieces were a wreath of flowers with a crystal coach in the middle
4) she had a lenox cinerella & prince for her cake topper
5) ALMOST FORGOT THIS! Following their entrance into the reception, she had all her BM's line up and try on her 'glass slipper'...(her FH was the one trying it on them all)...of course she(the bride) was last & it fit and this led them into their first dance..it was very unique and because the BM's made it so comical it was very entertaining!
I do have a photo of the coach on hand...u can't see them in the picture but it was pulled by two beautiful white horses.
i love Cinderella! I am not doing a Cinderella themed wedding but I am having a few Cinderella themed items such as the Cinderella and Prince Charming cake topper
My FH and I went to our friends wedding in Disney and she had a Cinderella theme. All of her bridesmaids wore the disney princess colors. She had blue, pink, yellow, and lavendar. The flower girl's dress was handmade into a gorgeous ballgown tinkerbell and she carried a wand with her basket of flowers. They paid a man to dress up in costume as her footman carrying the rings after he was announced by a trumpeter. She had the coach as well. At the reception(it was in Colonial America in Epcot). They had Cinderella's castle as the cake topper and the escort cards were attatched to wands(I loved this idea). Also before cake was cut they served some chocolate thing and a white chocolate slipper with canoli cream and rasperries. It was the best wedding I've ever been to! Good luck!

Re: Cinderella Wedding
ok girls! so I'm not sure which one of u had asked me, but the carraige company that my friend had used was actually M&V in commack. She didn't use them for limos, but she fell in love with their carraige so that's who they used! (and as u can see from the pics it was beautiful!)

HI, Thanks. I'd love any help you can offer. I want to get a pumpkin coach to arrive in. I found a couple of limo/carriage companies i like. is there one you could recommend? if you used that? I have tons of centerpiece ideas an i'm undecided. (i'm maikng them myself) .the favors and place card holders i've got ideas for too- but what did you do? I'm having my BM where light blue dresses. still unsure of my flower colors. i'm thinking cream and maybe purple? The wedding is not until Aug 09- but i'm eager to get a jump on things. Any help you can offer or ideas would be soooo appreciated. Thanks.
